While orange has been postulated, many experts agree it could be a light red or a darker shade of yellow. The paint swatch cards at the paint store suggest somewhere between mustard and rust. "I think everyone is missing the point. This is about a heart rate range, not a color!" stated co-founder, Ellen Latham; however, paint manufacturers and colorimetry experts tend to disagree.
"We're assuming it's orange because it sits between red and yellow, but in most color space models, yellow isn't even a parameter. As for heart rate, that frequency is much too slow to appear on the visible spectrum. " explained colorimetry expert, Dr. Roy G. Biv. He also didn't understand the correlation between peak fitness and a spokesperson who sits on the Raven's bench until they decide they don't need a touchdown. But he agreed it will probably play out a little better than a guy who lost 200lbs eating sandwiches.
